Romania-Transalpina

It's a beautiful ride from Horezu to  Novaci and the start of the TransAlpina crossing. There is no traffic on this country route and is very scenic as it passes through quiet villages. It has some steep, but short hills.  We think doing the TransAlpina from south to north is much more difficult than north to south. Just look at the profile! The switchbacks are extremely sharp and steep. Much easier to go down than up.
