BPPS to Carey Bay Liquor Store

1. From Blackalls Park Public School's gate at the corner of Rupert and Todd Streets, travel 125 metres south-west to the coner with Faucett Street.

2. Turn left into Faucett Street and travel 300 metres south-east to the left kink in Faucett Street.

3. Veer left into the long downhill straight of Faucett Street and continue east about 590 metres to the Fennell Crescent intersection.

4. Turn right into Fennell Crescent and travel its full length to where it joins Railway Parade near Stoney Creek. Stage 1 is 450 metres south to the veer left kink, a further 485 metres south-east to the next kink and a 180 metres roughly north-east through some tight bends.

5. Join the Fassifern-Toronto Greenway-Cycleway and continue to the Cary Street pedestrian lights opposite Victory Parade. (approx 535 metres).

6. Cross the road and continue on 435 metres to the end of the Greenway  jusy past old Toronto Railway Station (roughly parallel to Victory Parade). 

7. Join Victory Parade (or utilise its footpath) just opposite Toronto Hotel.Travel 330 metres roughly south-east to the intersection with Brighton Avenue next to the enclosed children's playground opposite Hughzies Restaurant.

8. Travel exactly 500 metres south-east down Brighton Avenue and sweep right into Jarrett Street taking the 270 metres to the next intersection with Excelsior Parade.

9. Turn left onto Excelsior Parade and travel 425 metres south-south-east to the Laycock Street intersection. 

10. Turn right and travel the 230 metres west-south-west to the Cary Bay liquor store.

11. Begin your return by reversing through instruction 8, 9 and 10 to get near to the enclosed children's playground.

12. Turn right at Wharf Road and travel about 75 metres towards the lake, joinging the parkland.

13. Travel through the parklands, uphill on the Victory Road footpath past Toronto Hotel and back through the Greenway to Stoney Creek Bridge.

14. After crossing the bridge, travel 185 metres where you cross the old rail line at the junction path. From here, join North Parade and travel the 435 metres to Bayview Avenue.

15. Turn hard right into Bayview Avenue and follow the tarred road to the entry to the Blackalls Park parklands and play area.

16. Turn left and travel 450 metres West along Blackall Avenue crossing North Parade and the link path back onto the Toronto-Fassifern Greenway-Cycleway.

17. Turn right  and proceed about 150 metres north-north-west until you can turn left onto the path that lets you cross South Parade at the traffic island. 

18. Once across South Parade, head north-west along its edge for 70 metres then turn LEFT into Todd Street.

19. Todd Street is reasonably straight for the last climb back to Blackalls Park Public School ... 450 metres on an increasing grade.
