Uptown, Lake Nokomis, Mississippi River, Greenway

Starting out on the south beach of Cedar Lake, we go along the shores of Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet. Getting off on the Minnehaha Creek Trail/Parkway, we go east, skimming the north shore of Lake Nokomis. Crossing Hiawatha, and eventually running into the West (Mississippi) River Pky going north to the Greenway and westward back home. This is a pretty route and great for all skill levels. It's entirely paved, safe and there are many fun stops off of the trail. Enjoy.
