August 8th 2010 Day Ride

This was an odd day. We biked from Stevens Point to Amherst for the day's planned ride. But we were delayed by a blow-out en route, then helped get another rider to the hospital with probable appendicitis. We were left with only enough time to do the shortest of the three pre-planned routes before lunch --- so we did that, and took a scenic route back to the hotel to complete an almost-50-mile ride
