Cherohala River Road

Starting in Tellico Plains, TN, rides the river road up by Bald River Falls and then onto the North Carolina State Line.  Just past the NC state line, the road turns to dirt, so you have to turn arond (no way to make it a loop).

The road is generally uphill all the way, but at a reasonable 3% grade or less most of the way.  The river is beautiful the whole way, with trees forming a canopy over the road in most places.  This ride is a 10 out of 10.
