Tour of Friendship 2011 - Stage 1

ITT 7 km on Aksa Road, about 30 kilometers North-West of the city of Bangkok, at Sala Thammasoop

Aksa Road is a nice straight boulevard with art-deco-like street lamps adorned with the Thai mystical bird.

The time trial starts on top of a bridge heading East for about 2.3 km, then take a narrow U-Turn come back over the bridge on the other side, head further West for another 1.2 km, do a second U-Turn and go back to the finish line.

In late April, early May, when the race is usually held, it is getting hot in Bangkok quite early in the morning, so the ride is not easy alltogether.
