Ride Leverkusen on the official NRW cycling network. The collection links districts like Wiesdorf, Opladen, Schlebusch, and Rheindorf with the Rhine riverfront and local parks. Surfaces are mostly smooth and paved (lots of asphalt, some paving stones). You’ll roll mainly on quiet streets and proper cycleways, with a few short connections on busier roads.

It’s pretty flat here, so the routes work for everyday rides, family spins, and easy city-to-river hops. Mix and match segments to build longer loops, or use them for quick commutes and errands.

Getting around is straightforward: look for local bike signposts at junctions, and take care at the occasional busy crossing. Trains at Leverkusen Mitte and Opladen make one-way rides easy.
