V91 Cubzac-les-Ponts – Lacave

A mellow V91 link between Cubzac-les-Ponts and Lacave in the Dordogne valley. Expect about 16–17 km of mostly paved riding, mainly on dedicated cycleway with some quiet roads and a few short track/path bits. Elevation is gentle (roughly 125 m up, 150 m down), so it rolls more than it climbs. Great for most bikes; slicks are fine, and wider tires make the brief rough patches comfy. Traffic is minimal—there’s virtually no busy road—just take care at junctions. Look for river views, vineyard country, and sleepy villages along the way. Start in Cubzac-les-Ponts and follow V91 wayfinding; it’s easy to extend the day by continuing along the route in either direction. Ideal for a relaxed spin, a family outing, or as a connector between longer V91 stages.
