Temps forts
- Pay a visit to the three forts Guaita, Cesta and Montale. From the forts, you’ll have a wonderful view on the Apennines, the Italian city Rimini and the sea.
- Visit the many museums. Amongst others, there is a wax museum, a coin and stamp museum, a museum of agriculture and tradition, the museum for modern weapons, the ferrari museum and a curiosity museum.
- Give the wonderful local cuisine a try and taste local wine, rabbit stew and chocolate-hazelnut cake.
Astuces
- There are many possible cycling tours through San Marino despite the country being relatively small. The hilly topography makes exhausting climbs and panoramic views possible.
- Take a bike trip to the nearby cities Rimini (30 minutes by car), Bologna (1.5 hours by car) or Florence (2.5 hours by car) and stay overnight before making the return trip. Or simply bike to the sea.
