Walnut St intersects with the start of the Minneapolis Diagonal Trail. It drops you off on Broadway which is a busy road. You can cross over the river on the Stone Arch Bridge.
The bike lanes on Marquette run opposite the direction of traffic. There has been some discussion by Minneapolis on closing those lanes in which case moving over one block to Nicollet will get access to S 10th St.

Shoreview to Village Bank (Blaine) via C.R. J

This is my route to the Village Bank Financial Center on Highway 65. Most of the route is on paved bike paths with a bit of shared road time. The only tricky part is crossing Interstate 10 and rounding the curves on 93rd lane (it is only two lanes and can be busy). Lots of other bikers ride along CR J to get to the new Medtronic building.
