Upland à vélo

This is a road bike ONLY run !!! It is hilly mountain climbing just about the entire route. Be forewarned and carry plenty of water!! The loop begins at Legends Burgers near 16th st and Mountain ave in North Upland. Take Mountain north thru San Antonio Heights. Once you pass San Antonio Heights you enter the mountain climbing all the way up to Mount Baldy. This is a gruelling climb with several false summits.... enjoy! Take Mountain ave to Mount Baldy road going north and climbing. Once you reach Mount Baldy, stop and refuel. The ride back down is mostly downhill and very fast, be prepared. Once you get back to the starting point, make sure to enjoy lunch at Legends.... you would have earned a hearty meal by then. Lots of climbing here with an approx 20 mile run. A great route to work on climbing skills. This is a SUPER Ipod friendly run so bring your good stuff.
