You’ll cruise south for nearly 90 km on mostly quiet roads, with a real adventure feel since most of the route covers paths and small access roads tucked in the hills. It’s a hilly journey, with some solid climbs taking you as high as 900 meters—trust me, your legs will feel it, but the lush scenery is well worth the sweat.

With very little traffic and just the occasional busy road, you’ll mostly be immersed in nature, rolling through mountain forests and past hidden villages. As you descend towards Yilan, the landscape opens up to rice paddies and countryside. Yilan is known for its hot springs and chill atmosphere—a perfect place to relax after the ride.
