Roll out from San Francisco del Monte in Quezon City, a historic district known for the 16th-century Santuario de San Pedro Bautista, and point southwest toward Manila. You’ll thread mostly quiet neighborhood streets, linking Del Monte Ave/Banawe to the Sampaloc backstreets, then glide past the University Belt and along the walls of Intramuros. The final stretch runs down to Bonifacio Drive and into the Port Area by Manila South Harbor and the piers.

It’s about 19 km and pretty flat overall (think gentle rollers rather than climbs). Surfaces are mostly concrete and asphalt, with a few rough or unknown patches—keep an eye out for drainage grates and ongoing works. There aren’t dedicated bike lanes on most of this route, so ride defensively and be extra alert at major crossings.

Pro tip: go early to beat heat and traffic, use lights, and expect trucks near the port. At the finish, Intramuros and Rizal Park are just a short spin away, and if you time it right, Manila Bay’s sunset is hard to beat.
