This route takes you on a scenic 20.5 km ride from the historic city of Bath to the bustling suburb of Kingswood. Starting off in Bath, famous for its Roman baths and beautiful Georgian architecture, you’ll mostly enjoy smooth pedaling along paved and asphalt paths—over 80% of the way is on dedicated cycleways, making it both safe and comfortable.

You’ll meander north out of the city, gradually climbing about 164 meters (don’t worry, the ascent is gentle!), before descending roughly the same amount as you approach Kingswood. Along the way, expect mostly quiet roads with very little traffic, giving you the chance to soak in some countryside views and maybe spot a few canals or charming villages.

Your destination, Kingswood, is known for its fascinating industrial heritage—it was once a hub for coal mining. Nowadays, it’s a lively area on the edge of Bristol, with plenty of local cafes to grab a coffee when you arrive.
