With about 18 km ahead, this route is mostly paved and follows peaceful cycleways and quiet roads, making for a smooth, relaxing journey. You’ll climb just over 300 meters, so expect a couple of mild hills—nothing too tough, but enough to get your heart going.

As you leave Wernberg’s riverside views behind, the route winds through lush countryside and occasional patches of woodland, giving you plenty of fresh air and a chance to see some classic Austrian rural scenery. For the most part, you’ll be away from busy roads, perfect for taking in the sights at your own pace.

Your destination, Ossiach, sits right on the shore of Lake Ossiach. It’s famous for its Benedictine Abbey and as a summer hotspot for music lovers thanks to the Carinthian Summer festival.
