From here, you’ll pedal south for about 9 km towards Finkenstein am Faaker See, a peaceful spot just west of the brilliant turquoise Faaker See lake and crowned by the old Finkenstein Castle ruins.

You’ll roll mostly along designated cycleways (over two-thirds of the route!), with smooth paved surfaces all the way—no need to worry about bumpy trails. The ride has gentle ups and downs, with a total climb of about 110 meters, perfect for a comfortable pace. Most of your journey takes you through quiet roads and scenic surroundings, with just tiny stretches on busier roads.
