Ready for a long ride through Upper Austria? Start off in Linz, a city that mixes a vibrant arts and culture scene with its riverside charm on the Danube. This scenic route to the historic town of Schärding covers about 112 km and features some hearty hills—there’s nearly 1800 meters of ascent, so get ready for a real workout!

Most of the path is on smooth paved and asphalt roads, often keeping you away from traffic—nearly half the ride is on quiet roads, and there are plenty of relaxed cycleways. Expect to pedal through peaceful countryside, charming villages, and lush rolling hills. There’s a bit of gravel here and there, but nothing too wild.
