Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Saint-Vith à Troisvierges

This cycling route takes you on a lovely cross-border ride from Sankt Vith in Belgium to Troisvierges in Luxembourg, covering a touch over 33 km. Sankt Vith is a charming little town in the East Cantons known for its cozy cafes and World War II history, so maybe grab a coffee before you set off!

The majority of the route rolls along dedicated cycleways and quiet roads, making for a relaxed ride with minimal traffic. There’s a steady climb out of Sankt Vith, but you’re rewarded with long stretches of scenic countryside and gentle descents as you make your way south.

Most of the journey is nicely paved—asphalt and concrete mix—so it’s comfortable for most bikes, though you’ll hit some short gravel sections (nothing too tricky). You’ll wind through forests and small villages before arriving in Troisvierges, a tranquil town nestled among the hills and a gateway to Luxembourg’s Ardennes region. Troisvierges is also a railway hub, so it's easy to catch a train back or continue exploring.
