Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Schongau à Füssen

Get ready for a beautiful ride from Schongau to Füssen! This roughly 50 km route will take you through rolling Bavarian countryside, starting in the charming medieval town of Schongau. Known for its well-preserved old town and city wall, Schongau sets the perfect stage for a scenic day on the bike.

You’ll pedal mostly on quiet roads, sprinkled with some peaceful paths—so traffic stress is kept to a minimum. Expect a few good climbs (over 500 meters of elevation gain), but the gorgeous landscapes totally make it worth it. About two-thirds of your journey is on smooth asphalt, but keep your eyes peeled for the occasional unpaved stretch and patches where the surface might be less clear, adding a bit of adventure.
