Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Pasing à Starnberg

This scenic cycling route starts in Pasing, a lively district on the western edge of Munich known for its shopping, parks, and easy-going atmosphere. From there, you'll pedal south for about 24 km, mostly on peaceful roads and smooth asphalt paths, making for a relaxing ride. The route gently climbs a total of 230 meters, but it rewards you with lovely rolling countryside views as you head towards the foothills.

The journey ends in Starnberg, a charming lakeside town famous for its stunning Lake Starnberg. This spot is a favorite weekend getaway for Munich locals, offering waterfront cafés and impressive views of the Alps on clear days.

Most of your ride uses quiet roads and well-maintained paths, with almost no busy streets to worry about. Expect about two and a half hours on the bike (at a comfortable pace), with plenty of fresh air and photo ops. Bring your swimsuit if the weather’s nice—there are plenty of places to dip your toes in the lake once you arrive!
