Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Constance à Stein am Rhein

This scenic route takes you from the university town of Konstanz, right on the edge of Lake Constance (Bodensee), through picturesque Swiss countryside to the charming medieval town of Stein am Rhein. You’ll pedal about 29 kilometers, mostly on smooth asphalt and quiet roads, with a gentle mix of rolling hills (expect around 386 meters of climbing—not too tough, but you’ll feel it in the legs!).

The path traces the Rhine for much of the journey, dotted with postcard villages and plenty of spots to pause for river views. Konstanz itself is famous for its lively old town and beautiful lake promenades, while Stein am Rhein will greet you with its stunning, fresco-adorned half-timbered houses and a sleepy, timeless vibe.
