Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Constance à Friedrichshafen

This scenic cycling route takes you from the historic city of Konstanz, right on the shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee), all the way to Friedrichshafen, the home of the famous Zeppelin airships. You’ll cover just over 81 km, mostly on smooth asphalt, with plenty of lake views, a few gentle climbs totaling about 750 meters ascent, and a lovely mix of dedicated cycle paths and peaceful back roads.

Starting in Konstanz, you can check out the beautiful old town and maybe even visit the island of Mainau before heading east. The ride hugs the lakeshore for long stretches, weaving through small villages, apple orchards, and lush countryside. Expect frequent glimpses of the Alps on clear days! The route is almost entirely paved, so it’s friendly for all types of bikes.
