This scenic ride starts in the historic city of Koblenz, beautifully set at the meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. From there, you’ll roll north for about 78.5 km, mostly along smooth, paved paths with a touch of paving stones for variety. The route has a gentle ascent and descent (just over 400 meters each way), so while it’s a solid workout, it’s not too punishing and gives you plenty of time to soak in the riverside views.

You’ll follow trajectories that stick close to the Rhine, meandering through vineyard-clad hillsides and passing charming towns. With over half the route on dedicated paths and more on quiet roads, it’s a stress-free spin, perfect for soaking up the scenery rather than contending with traffic.

Your journey finishes in Königswinter, nestled at the foot of the Siebengebirge (“Seven Hills”) and famous for the fairytale Drachenfels hilltop castle.
