Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Bad Füssing à Neuburg

Spin out of Bad Füssing, the famous spa town known for its thermal baths, and aim northeast on quiet lanes through fields toward the Inn. Pick up stretches of the Innradweg and cruise along the river’s floodplain forests—this is the Lower Inn nature reserve, so keep an eye out for herons and storks.

The ride is about 32 km with roughly 300 m of gentle climbing. It’s mostly low-traffic roads and mixed paths: plenty of smooth asphalt, plus some well‑graded gravel and farm tracks. A touring or gravel bike is perfect; road bikes will manage with a little care on the gravel sections.

Near the end, leave the riverside and roll up a short climb into Neuburg am Inn, crowned by Schloss Neuburg. The castle’s terrace offers great views over the Inn and across to Austria. Celebrate with a coffee in the village—or save your soak for a post-ride return to Bad Füssing’s thermal pools. Look for Innradweg signs and enjoy a calm, scenic borderland spin.
