Sortie rapide à vélo de Stuttgart Feuerbach à Gerlingen

Roll out from Stuttgart-Feuerbach and its Bosch heritage, then slip quickly onto quiet streets and leafy paths heading west. The route is about 9.6 km with a gentle ~100 m of climbing—nothing too fierce—perfect for an easy after-work spin. It’s mostly smooth going (around 90% asphalt) and almost half of it runs on paths, so you’ll get a nice mix of calm neighborhood roads and green stretches. Keep an eye out for pedestrians on the narrower sections.

If you fancy a short detour, swing up to Schloss Solitude for big views over the region—it's not far off this corridor. As you approach Gerlingen, the scenery opens toward the edge of the Glemswald; the Gerlinger Heide nature reserve is nearby if you want to extend your ride on sandy heath trails.

Finish in Gerlingen’s center for a coffee or hop on the U6 back toward Stuttgart. Fun fact: Feuerbach hosted Bosch’s first plant, while Gerlingen is known for its access to great walking and cycling in the surrounding hills.
