This scenic route takes you from the vibrant city of Bonn all the way to historic Koblenz, hugging the majestic Rhine River almost all the way. The ride is about 74 km and mostly flat, with just a little rolling here and there—perfect for a comfortable day in the saddle. You’ll mostly be on smooth asphalt paths and quiet roads, making it ideal for road bikes or touring bikes. Expect to pass through charming riverside villages, vineyards, and plenty of spots to stop for a coffee or snack!

Bonn itself is famous as Beethoven’s birthplace and a former capital of West Germany, so consider checking out a bit of its culture before you roll out. Once you reach Koblenz, you’re at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers—hence the name “Koblenz,” from the Latin “Confluentes.” The Deutsches Eck (German Corner) is a must-see landmark, and the city is packed with history and riverfront vibes.
