This scenic cycling route leads you from the historic town of Arnsberg to the charming village of Wickede, covering about 29 km. You'll begin your ride surrounded by Arnsberg’s lush Sauerland hills and old town flair—Arnsberg is known for its striking castle ruins and pretty riverside views along the Ruhr.

The path is mainly paved (over 85%), so it’s smooth rolling for most of the way, with a mix of quiet roads, cycleways, and scenic paths. You'll tackle a moderate ascent of about 138 meters, but thanks to the overall descent of over 260 meters, most of the ride feels relaxed as you glide northward.
