This ride takes you from the Hungarian town of Mosonmagyaróvár to Slovakia’s lively capital, Bratislava. It’s a pleasant 42 km route that’s mostly on smooth, paved cycleways—perfect for a casual day out or an easy-going tour.

You’ll start in Mosonmagyaróvár, known for its charming old town and castle, plus its centuries-old thermal baths if you fancy a soak before or after your ride. The path rolls gently along the flat plains near the Danube, so you’re in for a relaxed journey without much climbing. Most of the way is dedicated cycle path, with a little bit on quiet village roads, passing fields, small settlements, and, if you’re lucky, the occasional stork’s nest on a telephone pole.

As you roll into Bratislava, the city’s skyline comes into view—keep an eye out for the striking UFO Bridge and the hilltop castle.
