Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Göd à Leányfalu

Looking for a scenic ride along the Danube Bend? This 30 km cycling route takes you from Göd, a charming riverside town famous for its spa baths, to the peaceful village of Leányfalu. The vast majority of your journey is on smooth, paved surfaces (over 85%), with plenty of dedicated cycle paths (about 55%) and quiet roads, so you can enjoy the views with minimal traffic stress.

You’ll cruise past pretty riverbanks, wooded areas, and a handful of small settlements, with only a gentle amount of climbing (about 128 meters in total). Göd is also known for its beautiful parks, so it’s worth a quick wander before you set off. At the other end, Leányfalu sits just north of Szentendre and is a locally loved spot for relaxing near the water.

With almost no gravel and few busy roads, this route is ideal if you want a relaxed ride through natural scenery and riverside villages. Pack a picnic or stop for coffee by the water—you’re in for a lovely day out!
