Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Malá Strana à Hostivice

This scenic ride kicks off in the heart of Malá Strana, one of Prague’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods (think Baroque palaces and cobbled streets beneath Prague Castle). You’ll roll west, swapping city buzz for leafy parks and suburban calm, climbing gently as you leave the Vltava valley behind.

Much of the 21 km route flows along quiet roads and dedicated cycleways—so you’ll enjoy plenty of peace and just the occasional, more bustling stretch. Expect mostly paved and asphalt surfaces, with only a sprinkle of cobblestone (it is Prague, after all!).

As you near Hostivice, the atmosphere shifts to a laid-back village vibe. Hostivice is known for its scenic ponds and protected nature areas, making it a lovely spot for a post-ride breather. All in all, this ride is a perfect mix of urban charm and countryside serenity—not too tough, but with enough climbs to keep things interesting.
