Get ready for a classic ride along the iconic Camino de Santiago! This 85 km journey takes you from the charming town of Villafranca del Bierzo, nestled among vineyards in León, to Sarria—one of the most important pilgrim towns in Galicia.

You’ll start out with a bang, climbing your way up to heights over 1,300 meters as you pass into Galicia. Expect plenty of ascent, so pace yourself! En route, you’ll pedal through small mountain villages and plenty of lush, green countryside. The route is a real mix: you’ll switch between quiet roads and old tracks, with a few short sections on busier roads (but just for a moment).

Much of the path is unmarked or traditional Camino trail, sometimes a bit rough, so a gravel or trekking bike is best. Villafranca is famous for its historic churches and wine, while Sarria is a lively hub where many pilgrims begin their final 100 km to Santiago.
