Start your journey in Schlanders, a lovely town nestled in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley, famous for its apple orchards and impressive medieval tower (the tallest in the region!). Hop on the dedicated cycleway and cruise mostly downhill—over 580 meters of descent means you can really enjoy the scenery without breaking too much of a sweat.

You’ll follow the Adige river valley, winding through vineyards, small villages, and orchards. The route is about 37 km, with most of it on smooth asphalt and purpose-built cycle paths, making it relaxed and safe. There’s only a short stretch on gravel, so road bikes are fine.
