Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Brunico à Lienz

Get ready for an incredible ride from Bruneck to Lienz, spanning nearly 80 km through some of the most scenic stretches of the Alps! You’ll start in the charming town of Bruneck (Brunico in Italian), nestled in the Puster Valley and known for its lovely old town and the striking castle that watches over the city.

This route mostly follows well-maintained cycleways and quiet roads, so you can really soak up the mountain views. You'll tackle some long but steady climbs (with about 1,170 meters of ascent!), but it’s balanced out by even more downhill cruising on the way to Lienz. Most of the path is smooth asphalt or paved, with just a few gravel sections for a bit of variety.

Arriving in Lienz, you’ll be greeted by colorful facades and a lively atmosphere—fitting for its nickname, "Pearl of the Dolomites."
