Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Rovinj à Pula

This scenic cycling route takes you from the colorful seaside town of Rovinj down to the historic city of Pula on Croatia’s Istrian peninsula. It’s about 47 km of riding, which makes for a rewarding day trip through rolling countryside, quiet roads, and coastal views. You’ll climb just over 430 meters along the way, so it’s a nice challenge without being too tough.

Starting in Rovinj, you can wander the cobblestone streets and maybe grab a coffee overlooking the harbor before setting off. The route is a mix—expect plenty of paved and asphalt sections, but also stretches of gravel and dirt, so a sturdy bike is a good idea. You’ll be cruising mostly along quiet roads and tracks, away from heavy traffic, as you pass olive groves and small villages.
