This route takes you from the vibrant heart of Ljubljana, Slovenia’s laid-back capital, all the way to the tranquil mountain village of Zgornje Jezersko. Covering just under 58 km, it’s a proper adventure, climbing over 2,500 meters through scenic valleys and lush forests.

You’ll roll out of Ljubljana’s charming old town, cruising north past sleepy villages and into increasingly wild landscapes. The roads are mostly paved but expect a good dose of gravel and stretches where the trail may get rough—perfect if you’re looking for a little off-the-beaten-path action. Most of your ride will be on quiet roads and tracks, making for a peaceful journey (with only a few brief encounters with other cyclists or locals).

As you near Jezersko, get ready for some steeper climbing and jaw-dropping views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
