Expect a good mix of experiences as you pedal approximately 155 km, with plenty of ups and downs (nearly 2,900 meters of ascent!). The first part is mostly quiet paved or asphalt roads, letting you soak in Slovenia’s green countryside. As you get closer to the coast, you’ll cruise past rolling hills, vineyards, and sleepy villages, with some scenic gravel sections mixed in—so a gravel or touring bike will serve you well here. Most of the ride is peaceful, but stay alert for the occasional busier stretch.
