Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Ljubljana à Celje

Set off from Slovenia’s charming capital, Ljubljana, and enjoy a scenic adventure as you make your way northeast to Celje. With roughly 2,300 meters of ascent and descent, it’s definitely a route for those who love a rolling ride.

You’ll pedal out of Ljubljana—renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and castle-topped old town—soon trading city buzz for serene Slovenian countryside. Expect big green views as you climb up to almost 923 meters (time to snap some photos!). The second half is mostly downhill, letting you cruise into Celje, a historic town watched over by a medieval castle and bustling with cozy cafés.
