Ready for a coastal city pedal? This ride takes you from Callao—Lima’s historical port city—into the heart of bustling Lima itself. You’ll cover just under 24 kilometers, mostly cruising on paved and asphalt surfaces (about 78% of the way), so it’s smooth sailing for most of the route.

Expect to gain a bit of elevation, especially as you wind inland, but none of the climbs are too grueling—just enough to give your legs a little workout. About half of the journey follows cycleways, making for a safer and more relaxed ride, with most of the rest on low-traffic roads.

Starting in Callao, you’ll get a taste of Peru’s maritime history (don’t miss the old forts and colonial architecture!), before rolling east toward Lima. As you approach the city, busy streets give way to Lima’s grand plazas and vibrant neighborhoods—the perfect way to end your ride. Grab a coffee or some ceviche when you arrive—you’ve earned it!
