Spin out from Hightstown’s charming downtown by Peddie Lake and roll northwest on calm neighborhood streets toward Plainsboro. The route is about 23 km and mostly flat (roughly 56 m of total climbing), so it’s an easy, steady ride. Expect mostly quiet roads with a few dedicated cycleway sections and only brief hops on busier stretches.

You’ll pass plenty of suburban greenery as you weave through East Windsor into Plainsboro Township. Finish in Princeton Meadows, a residential hub known for its tree‑lined paths and proximity to parks like the Plainsboro Preserve and the broader Princeton/Route 1 area.

• Start snacks and coffee are plentiful around Hightstown’s historic center.
