This ride takes you from the heart of Long Island City down into Brooklyn—two of NYC's most vibrant neighborhoods. You’ll cover just under 15 km, cruising mostly on quiet roads and asphalt paths, so it’s pretty smooth sailing. Expect gentle ups and downs, but nothing too strenuous (about 47 meters of climbing total).

You'll start out in Long Island City, known for its cool art scene and waterfront parks with epic Manhattan views. Then you’ll make your way south, weaving through some quieter residential streets. Along the way, you’ll pass through the ever-changing cityscape, getting glimpses of both industrial flair and classic brownstones as you approach Brooklyn.

The route ends in central Brooklyn, a borough famous for its food, music, and cultural diversity. It’s a nice blend of urban energy and local charm—a great spot to grab a post-ride coffee or bite! Most of the ride sticks to quieter, cyclist-friendly roads, making it a laidback trip across town.
