Excursion à vélo d’une journée de Port Moody à Vancouver West End

Roll out from Port Moody’s Rocky Point Park on Burrard Inlet—home to the city’s “Brewers Row” and a great pre-ride coffee spot. Head west along the shoreline and link into the Barnet corridor, skirting Burnaby Mountain and Barnet Marine Park with big inlet-and-skyline views. From there, slide onto Vancouver’s Adanac/Union bikeway and cruise across downtown on the protected Dunsmuir bike lane.

It’s about 28 km, mostly on quiet streets and dedicated cycleways (think smooth, paved riding). Expect some rolling terrain with roughly 386 m of climbing and a high point around 160 m—nothing too spicy, but you’ll feel a couple of the rises.

Finish in the West End, one of Vancouver’s most bike-friendly neighborhoods, tucked between English Bay and Stanley Park. Grab a treat on Davie or Denman, or cool down with a lap on the Seawall and a sunset at the beach.
