Palma - The Scenic West Coast

Palma – the beautiful west coast

This route takes you along the west coast following the beautiful mountain ridge and passing through pretty villages, giving you plenty of vertical metres spread out over many kilometres.

Start by riding in a group through Palma and follow the main road along the harbour for 3 km before starting the mountainous ascent towards Valldemossa, Deia and the Soller Valley. Following a beautiful ride over the mountain peak – cars are lead through a tunnel – you head back towards Palma.

 

This is a long ride with several opportune pit stops along the way. There is plenty of variation and diversity along the route making it a good experience and perfect for training.

 

Provisions: There is a number of possibilities in the small villages along the route. You can stop for lunch in Deia or – if you can wait that long – Soller; pick a restaurant on the village square.
