Kutná Hora Bike Tour - Bikes and Beer!

Starting and finishing at Pivovar Holland'an where you can park your car for free, unload your bike and fill up your water bottles ready for your journey. This ride visits the historical medieval town of Kutna Hora, explore its surrounding beautiful countryside and take in the many scenic views across the landscape. The route has some obvious points where you can shorten the route if so desired. The first encounter with the town takes you on the historical Kings Walk where you will get the Royal View of the Cathedral and can see the famous rock carving of Jaroslav Vrchlický. The route then takes you into the surrounding countryside visiting a number of small villages, including a quick visit to a famous statue, known locally as " Headless John" before revisiting Kutna Hora. The route then goes through the town and tours around the main sites including St. Barbara's Cathedral, The Stone Fountain and the Italian Court or Vlašský dvůr. The Route then takes you out of the town and to the neighboring village of Sedlec where you can find the infamous Church of Bones. The ride retraces its steps back to the Pivovar Holland'an where you can stop for refreshments, a bite to eat or a nice ice cream before embarking on the second loop of your journey which visits Kačína Mansion and its wooded grounds, paths and cycleways. The ride then finishes at the Pivovar Holland'an where you can stay for a while, sample the freshly brewed beer, grab some food or a barista style coffee or possibly see some live music in the evening before your drive or ride home.
