I have drawn two routes here which diverge at the intersection of Front and Como Ave.  The first takes Front and is the northern route.  This route goes through a neighborhood and is generally quiet with some climbs but the north/south routes east of 35E are being resurfaced so it is kind of gravelly. 

 

I drew the second route coming from the destination point, taking the Bruce Ventro trail through downtown St. Paul.  If you don't mind riding in traffic, 7th St E is a pretty straight shot but the traffic is high.   If you wanted to choose the more southern route that goes through downtown St. Paul, be sure to note that on the way to the destination, you would take Cedar St to E 5th St to get to 4th St E and on the return would be the mapped version of 6th St E to Minnesota St.  This is due to the one-way on those roads.
