    L'kodac - 20 min beach walk from our place. Gorgeous bar/restaurant and a great place to catch the sunset. Behind it is unfortunately a fuel processing plant but don't look at it, just look at the beach (: https://www.zomato.com/porto/lkodac-le%C3%A7a-da-palmeira

    Continete Grocery store. This little mall seems a bit dark at first but it's actually worth checking out the boutique stores where they carry a lot of unique clothing and it's a good place for cheap mani/pedi

    There's a big ugly building here but at the bottom on the beach side are some good restaurants with big patios that are worth a stop

    Lots of good beachside cafes, most are below the seawall so you need to peek over the edge to see them.

    Nice park with parrots living in the high palm trees. The bike path gets rough (cobblestones) and congested (tourists) here so I recommend you steer away from the seawall and into the park. There's also usually a small weekend craft market here
