    Krepost' Yam Крепость Ям The Yam fortress was founded by the Novgorod boyar Ivan Fedorovich in 1384, and finally dismantled in 1781 by order of Catherine II. On the site of the fortress, the Summer Garden park was laid out. The fortress was repeatedly besieged and captured by the Swedes and was in their possession according to the Stolbovski peace. It was included in the place with the Ivangorod fortress in the chain of defense from the Swedes. Now from the fortress, earthen ramparts have survived, along which "hare" paths of walking have been laid, part of the fortress moat has been turned into a park pond. On the other side of the road, the remains of one of the bastions and a fragment of the wall are preserved, but their inspection is difficult, since they are located on the slope of the Luga River. The Poklonniy Cross is installed in the same place.

On the territory there is a chapel, a bathhouse, a refectory, a boulder with prints of the footprints of the Mother of God.
