This route is an asphalt cycleway for most of its length. It’s paved for nearly all of the ride. It’s a cycleway for around ten kilometres, but you’ll share the road with traffic on a busy road for roughly a hundred metres and on a quiet road for about half that time. There’s a small portion of gravel as you ascend. The maximum elevation is roughly thirty-five metres. You’ll gain twenty-two metres of elevation and lose twenty-three metres of elevation.
