Start at the quaint village of Grindelwald and journey to the serene Klöntaleralp. Mostly flat terrain offers a gentle introduction, with a few gentle hills to engage your legs. Around ten kilometres into your ride, you’ll begin a modest ascent, winding through lush alpine meadows. The ascent is short but steady, offering glimpses of charming mountain huts and panoramic views. Roughly a hundred metres into the climb, the scenery becomes more dramatic, with sweeping vistas of the Eiger and Mönch peaks. As you near the summit at forty-nine-one metres, the path becomes a bit steeper, but the descent that follows is exhilarating, dropping swiftly and smoothly back to the village.
