Nearly half of your journey is along peaceful country roads, though there’s a fair share of rugged tracks as you climb up towards Haría.

Don’t underestimate the ascent—over 600 meters of climbing will get your legs working, especially as you approach the lush valley that wraps around Haría, nicknamed the “Valley of a Thousand Palms.” The views of volcanic landscapes and distant coasts make those climbs worthwhile.
