Über diese Route

This amazing route is intended only for long riders. You will be riding between wineyards and the dessert, over the productive frontier. Because of that you have few spots to refill your water cans, also route 62 mostly don't have cellphone signal. Route 61 is the only part of the trace with the surface in bad state, but avoid bringing carbon wheels. Wind from the east. Remember that you have 5o hilly kilometers at the end, reserve some strenght. Apart of these facts, you will be crossing two rivers, the wonderful Benegas dam, a dozen wineries and attractive small towns as Medrano, Los Arboles and Barriales.Taking a detour to Los Arboles instead of continuing up to Rivadavia give a more wonderful and paceful course with fewer miles.
